Aerial systems made for the field.
We develop power, data and mechanical systems together to make tethered aerial systems more portable. AirLink is our R&D programme built on this approach.

A portable system for extended missions.
Tethered systems deliver power from the ground to the aircraft, reducing the constraints of battery endurance. The weight and setup of the ground unit still determine how easily the system can move through the field.
AirLink aims to bring the ground unit into a form one person can carry. Power electronics, data transmission and tether management are designed together around that goal.

A backpack-format ground unit, an HVDC power line and an aerial platform that carries data over the same conductor. An architecture one person can deploy on foot.

A station that shelters, raises and recovers a drone in the field. In tethered mode the AirLink cable leaves through the centre of the landing plate.

On land, at sea, in the air.
Power, data and tether management, designed together.
Every component of a portable tethered system must fit within a weight and volume budget. AirLink focuses on these three engineering areas.

Let's build together.
